HAPPY NATIONAL CHOCOLATE FONDUE DAY !
Fondue is a retro dish that never goes out of style. Whether you make a savory or sweet fondue you have an instant soiree on your hands ! So dust off your "Twister" game and enjoy a great Chocolate Fondue afterwards. During would be too messy !!!!!
16 ounces dark, sweet or semi-sweet chocolate
1 1/2 cups light cream
1 tsp Vanilla extract
1 1/2 cups light cream
1 tsp Vanilla extract
2 tsp Espresso Powder
Warn up your Fondue Pot or place a bowl over simmering water, a Ban Marie. Add the vanilla and espresso powder to the cream, mixing a bit to incorporate the powder, then add the cream mixture to the chocolate. Allow it all the melt and blend, then enjoy !
I use skewered strawberries, Navel orange slices that I use tongs with, pound cake chunks and angle food cake chunks too. Also..... skewered Marshmallows are the BOMB !
