Chocolate Fudge !
With Valentine's Day on the way many folks ask me foe a fudge recipe. As much as I like chocolate I am not a Fudge eater, however I do what I am told and offer help. I am a dark or bittersweet chocolate kinda guy ! Soooooo ... here we go !
2 & 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1 7 oz jar Marshmallow Fluff
2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, or chunks
1 tsp vanilla
you can add nuts too if you want.
Line a 13 X 9 pan with parchment, making sure that you allow the parchment to extend over the pan's edges. Butter ethe parchment paper. In a large pot combine the sugar, butter and evaporated milk. Over medium heat bring the sugary, buttery, milky mixture to a boil for 5 minutes, stirring all the way ! Add the fluff and chocolate then blend until smooth. Add the vanilla NOW ! Pour your fudge into a buttered, parchment lined pan. Cool to room temperature. Score the cooled fudge before cutting the fudge into squares, diamonds, whatever ! Chill in the icebox until firm. Cut on the scored lines. And, enjoy !
